Geofreeze is a scam. I paid them $$$$ to fix my foundation with a piering system in the early 90's. Ten years later the foundation was failing again. Same exact thing. Call Geofreeze again. The owner came out said he would fix it with kevlar strips. Cost me $$$ this time. By 2015 the foundation was failing again. So this time I called JES Foundation.
They dug up around the spot Geofreeze supposedly put there piering. I say supposedly because JES could not find any piering at all. JES Fixed it. So in short do not use GEOFREEZE.

Do not use Geofreeze! Anyone interested in waterproofing, foundation reinforcement, drainage improvements or construction should NOT use the company called Geofreeze. They are horribly disorganized and do work without proper engineering protocol. They wrecked the foundation in our house in Alexandria, Virginia. They were hired to do foundation reinforcement and drainage improvements but went completely outside of the scope of the contract and were excavating where they should NOT have been and caused a severe problem for us.
When we called them about the issue they came to the house and admitted to us that the crew had gone outside of the scope of the contract when the problem was created and now flatly refuse to fix the problem they created or to honor the warranty. We had a stoop that was six feet deep of solid concrete functioning as a sister wall to the basement wall.
The contract stated they would ".remove and demolish the stoop and replace in kind." They failed to replace the stoop "in kind". Instead of a six feet deep concrete stoop which we started out with they only put back in a six inch stoop. The basement wall is caving in now because after they dug out the stoop they filled the hole back in with dirt instead of concrete.
The chief engineer who was not on the job admitted that the crew's supervisor had ".gone outside of the scope of the contract, " and now they are refusing to come and fix the problem or honor the warranty. When we called to talk to them about it they hung up the phone on us. What a nightmare this has been. We have hired a lawyer now to solve this problem. At all costs do not ever hire Geofreeze!

Used a geophysical engineer from this place to come an assess foundation damage caused by a common area retaining wall in my townhome complex. The wall cracked and was causing foundation settling and cracking. The guy came out quickly, and was very knowledgeable and proved his worth within the first hour. Then, once he left and I waited for the report so I could move on with the legal issues involved with my developer I never heard from him again. Called five times, and was told each time: "oh yeah I will get it out".
I never paid the guy and he didn't seem to care ($495 an hour is the rate! but this is average from my experience with engineers). Anyway. finally, three months later, I got a letter and bill. There are plenty of other engineering firms out there, save your time and money and use one that responds to you and actually seems to want your buisness!
