Whilst a picture can provide information in one moment, a movie will provide context and show the evolution of the setting. Clients no longer have to depend on a technician or surveyor to periodically visit their site and assess the condition of critical infrastructure. More importantly, the 'movies' we provide are close to real-time and alarms can be set to alert the client and contractors if any of the monitored targets have exceeded any important thresholds.Founded in 1991, Municon is a trusted structural and geotechnical instrumentation monitoring services provider.
Conventional drilling and other daylighting investigations can provide detailed and reliable information about the subsurface at a single location, but are largely blind to detecting spatial variations of the ground conditions across an area. The use of geophysical methods in subsurface investigations enables us to get a more complete picture of the underground, by obtaining two- or three-dimensional models.
Every year people are injured or killed due to hitting buried pipes and cables during construction. Utility Locating has become a critical component in the construction industry to ensure timely completion and success of projects in a safe manner where subsurface exaction is planned. Damaging existing utilities can also lead to substantial cost overruns because of delays in repairs and relocating the different services.
