WESTERN ROTARY VENTILATOR COMPANY was set up in 1921 to engineer and build ventilation products under the WESTERNAIRE trade name. In 1973 a new independent division was established to evolve and market high-efficiency HVAC equipment. The corporation has generated its own steady growth requiring the constant attention of management so it can speedily adapt to the constantly changing demands.

Our Indirect section is specifically designed and manufactured to increase efficiencies in cooling and air transfer. Our specially designed evaporative core is manufactured on site and is proprietary to only us. The indirect core is highly efficient, providing 60-65% efficiency when 330 to 360 FPM Face Velocity of air is drawn through the indirect core.
Our high performance Rotary-Type Evaporative Cooler is a self-contained unit with a cylindrical evaporative media constructed from layers of corrugated bronze screening. Continuously rotating in a stainless steel water reservoir, the media is wet and washed while air is drawn through the media. This process draws off minute films of water for efficient evaporation.
Our custom- built, modular- construction air handling units represent a totally integrated system of air transfer. They are built for both indoor and outdoor installations. The completed units are constructed and tested at the factory, which accepts full responsibility for performance. All material and components utilized in the construction of Westaire air handling units conform to the requirements or standards of recognized technical or industrial organizations i.e.ASME, UL and AMCA. Westaire air handling units comply with applicable requirements of Standard Heating and Cooling equipment (UL 1995/CSA C22.2 NO 236 second edition) and bear ETL seals.
These types of HVAC equipment are more known for being larger air handlers that condition 100% outside air, and no recirculated air or return air. Our make up air units are packaged units with Heating and Cooling capabilities designed for both indoor and outdoor use. The units are made to supply new fresh outside air to the building, or area.
