Engineers had to be more innovative, better leaders and much more active in shaping the future and application of technology. Our relationships with our clients had to be more candid, interactive and bound by trust and understanding. The technologies we bring to our clients directly address the pressing needs of our times: Energy shortages and energy independence, the environment, economic need, and the ability to benefit properly from new technology.More than ever, our work is guided by the principle that alternative energy design and building systems design naturally go together.
Combined Heat and Power (CHP, also known as cogeneration) plants providing on-site power heat and cooling to new and existing facilities. Plants typically run 24-7 under full automated control. Critical health care MEP systems for operating suites, emergency rooms, ICU, radiology and other treatment facilities.
Our CHP plants combined with LEED orientated MEP design allow our clients to commonly achieve LEED Gold and Silver status, and save significant energy cost in the process. On an annual basis Energy Concepts CHP systems save our clients over $40 million per year. We have designed business models for all types of clients specific to their situation to maximize the money they can save or generate with innovative energy systems and CHP plants.
