The good news is that they are nice, clear and do a decent job. However, they ended up overcharging us. On their proposal, they said that they wouldn't go above $900. However, after the work finished, we were charged another $550. They came over a total of 3 times. The first time was for an estimate. The wanted us to take some pictures, so we opened up the ceiling a little and did so.

The second time, they came over and gave it a once over. We ended up taking down all of the ceiling drywall for them. They sent over an analysis which looked good, but then we were worried that another issue may be the real problem. SCE came over a 3rd time (second beyond the estimate, ) and they found that our concerns were right. So, they changed the drawings because their initial analysis was incorrect.

That was the cause of the extra fee. It doesn't make sense to me that we should have to pay extra for an overlooked, needed correction. We didn't make the mistake. I wouldn't recommend them for that reason.
