Our in-house team has experience in the medical/biotech, consumer and industrial marketplace. Our in-house team of 15 engineers including MEs, EEs, SW/FW programmers and industrial designers has seen a lot and is ready to dig in and help. Working out of 7,000 square feet of labs and office space gives us the capability to help you with your design, development, prototype, tooling, and documentation needs.

Expertise Engineering works more like an engineering department than a group of consultants or experts. Product development is a team sport and words like 'consultant' and 'expert' don't fit. We have between 12 and 15 engineers (MEs, EEs, and programmers) on staff; that is about how many engineers a $20M company having a product line to develop and sustain would have.
Expertise Engineering LLC, is a product design engineering company started in 1995 by a group of engineers from varied backgrounds and has a wide range of expertise in industrial, medical and consumer product design. We have helped numerous companies get their ideas and concepts into production. Our in-house team of 15 engineers has 7,000 square feet of offices and lab space centrally located in Sorrento Valley near UCSD and the train station.
We offer design services using our in-house staff of 12 to 15 MEs, EEs, and programmers. PCBA and embedded systems, plastic boxes to hold it, industrial design, including testers and related manufacturing equipment and tooling. As of late, embedded systems using radios have been a common task for us.
Almost all our customers (>90%) that we see on a daily basis are executives in their company. What we do is personal to them and that makes it personal to us. Accordingly, almost all our customers are local and in southern California. Well, anyone familiar with California's business climate knows it is always energetic, diverse, and growing.
